Atoms are extremely tiny, and even a small sample contains billions of them. Counting each atom individually is impossible. The mole provides a convenient way to express the number of particles: 1 mole = 6.022 × 10²³ particles. For example, 1 mole of water has ~6.022×10²³ molecules, making calculations easier.
