Chemistry Class 12

Why do we need a mole concept?

Why can't we simply count atoms instead of using the "mole" in chemistry?

Atoms are extremely tiny, and even a small sample contains billions of them. Counting each atom individually is impossible. The mole provides a convenient way to express the number of particles: 1 mole = 6.022 ?- 10²³ particles. For example, 1 mole of water has ~6.022?-10²³ molecules, making calculations easier.
