Why do we say a car moving in a circle at constant speed still has a changing velocity?

Speed is just how fast something moves, while velocity also considers direction. In circular motion, even if speed is constant, the direction changes at every point — meaning the velocity changes. That's why circular motion involves acceleration even at constant speed!
