Momentum in collisions
Why does a small bullet cause more damage than a large stone thrown slowly?

Damage depends on momentum = mass × velocity, and more importantly, kinetic energy = ½mv². A bullet, though lighter, has extremely high velocity, giving it much more energy than a slow-moving stone. That’s why bullets are so destructive.
