Difference between molarity and molality

Students often mix these two terms. How are they different?

Molarity (M) = moles of solute / liters of solution. Molality (m) = moles of solute / kg of solvent. Key difference: molarity depends on volume (which changes with temperature), while molality depends on mass (which doesn't).
