Why do cells look different in shape and size?

If all cells do similar jobs, why don’t they look the same?

Cell shape and size depend on function. For example, nerve cells are long to transmit signals, red blood cells are round to flow easily, and muscle cells are elongated to help movement. Structure supports function.
