If an apple falls from a tree and hits the ground in 2 sec, how fast is it moving just before impact?

Use v = gt. g ≈ 9.8 m/s², so v = 9.8 × 2 = 19.6 m/s ≈ 70 km/h. Surprising, right? Apples fall pretty fast!
